Position Summary

We are seeking a GitHub Copilot Engineer to help customers successfully adopt GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot across their software engineering teams. The role focuses on GitHub administration, Copilot deployment and enablement, AI-powered developer productivity, custom AI agents, and customer workshops.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development practices, GitHub Enterprise administration, GitHub Copilot capabilities, prompt engineering, and emerging AI technologies. This is a customer-facing role involving technical consulting, enablement, training, and implementation of AI-powered engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

GitHub Enterprise & Copilot Administration

- Configure and manage GitHub Enterprise organizations, repositories, teams, and access controls.
- Assist customers with GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise deployments.
- Manage user onboarding, licensing, policies, and governance.
- Configure SSO, identity integration, and enterprise security settings.
- Support customers in adopting GitHub best practices and governance standards.

Copilot Adoption & Enablement

- Conduct GitHub Copilot assessments and adoption workshops.
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for developers, architects, and engineering teams.
- Educate customers on prompt engineering and AI-assisted development practices.
- Develop reusable demos, labs, and enablement content.
- Help customers measure and improve GitHub Copilot adoption and utilization.

AI Agents & Automation

- Build custom AI agents and engineering assistants using GitHub Copilot and contemporary AI technologies.
- Code generation

- Explore and implement emerging GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI capabilities.





Customer Engagement

- Participate in customer discovery and technical discussions.
- Assist with proof-of-concepts and pilot implementations.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations.
- Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Microsoft, GitHub, and internal teams to support customer success.
