About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sr / Lead DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, deployment, and release strategy for a project built on a .NET Core 10 Web API backend, Angular 21 frontend, and MS SQL Server 2025, with significant data migration activities involved. The ideal candidate will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment strategy, and release governance — while actively leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve DevOps efficiency, reliability, and speed of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- CI/CD Pipeline Development
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for:
- .NET Core 10 Web API applications
- Angular 21 front-end applications
- Database deployment and schema changes in SQL Server 2025
- Data migration packages and scripts
- Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Rolling, and Canary deployments where applicable.
- Source Control & Branching Strategy
- Configure and manage Git repositories (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab).
- Define and enforce branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development).
- Implement pull request validation, code review workflows, and merge policies.
- Build & Release Automation
- Create automated build pipelines for:
- .NET Core applications
- Angular applications
- Database projects
- Manage build artifacts and package repositories.
- Integrate automated versioning and release management processes.
- Database DevOps & Data Migration
- Automate SQL Server database deployments using DACPAC, SSDT, Flyway, Liquibase, or similar tools.
- Develop deployment strategies for schema updates and large-scale data migrations.
- Ensure rollback and recovery mechanisms for database changes.




- Collaborate with DBAs and development teams during migration activities.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Configure cloud resources in Azure/AWS environments.
- Implement environment standardization and automated server provisioning.
- Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
- Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps best practices.
- Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines:
- SAST
- DAST
- Dependency Scanning
- Secret Scanning
- Manage application secrets and certificates using tools like Azure Key Vault.
- Monitoring & Reliability
- Configure monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Implement centralized logging and application health monitoring.
- Troubleshoot deployment and production issues proactively.
- Establish SLAs, deployment KPIs, and release quality metrics.

- Required Experience




- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and Release Engineering.
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Experience with .NET and Angular application deployment automation.
- Experience managing SQL Server database deployments and data migration activities.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.
