Starpago is hiring an India Local Payments Business Development Specialist.
We’re looking for an experienced payments professional with robust knowledge of the Indian payments ecosystem and the ability to develop and manage local payment partnerships.
? Work Mode: Remote
?? Preferred: Indian nationals; candidates based in India, Dubai, Malaysia, or other locations with strong India market knowledge are welcome
? Languages: English & Hindi
? Experience: 3+ years in Payments / FinTech / Banking
Key Responsibilities
• Develop partnerships with Indian banks, PSPs, Payment Gateways and Payment Aggregators
• Drive commercial negotiations, KYC, account applications, merchant onboarding and settlement arrangements
• Coordinate payment integration and channel launches with technical, business and operations teams
• Maintain existing partners and continuously identify new local payment opportunities
• Support the development and expansion of our local business operations in India




We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in:
UPI | IMPS | NEFT | RTGS | Merchant Acquiring | Merchant Onboarding | PSP | Payment Gateway | Payment Aggregator
Experience with or strong connections across the following ecosystem is highly preferred:
Cashfree | Razorpay | PayU | Easebuzz | CCAvenue | BillDesk | Juspay | M2P | HDFC Bank | ICICI Bank | Axis Bank | Yes Bank | SBI | NPCI ecosystem
