Production Engineer – Shop Floor
Manage and monitor day-to-day shop floor production activities to achieve production targets and schedules.
Operate, monitor, and coordinate production activities involving CNC/VMC and other precision machining equipment.
Ensure machines are running efficiently and minimize machine downtime, rejection, and production delays.
Monitor production parameters, cycle times, output, and adherence to quality standards.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Stores teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Analyze production issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure proper adherence to SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S practices on the shop floor.




Conduct regular in-process inspection and production checks in coordination with the Quality team.
Maintain production records, machine utilization reports, rejection/rework data, and daily production reports.
Support process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Monitor manpower allocation and ensure effective utilization of resources on the production floor.
Follow preventive maintenance requirements and report machine abnormalities to the Maintenance team.
Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety requirements.
