Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, vendor management, monthly financial closures, audit coordination, statutory compliance, MIS reporting, and financial analysis. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Book Closure
Ensure accurate accounting of all business transactions.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books.
Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
Maintain fixed asset register and supporting schedules.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
2. Vendor Management & Accounts Payable




Manage vendor onboarding and documentation.
Verify invoices and coordinate approvals.
Monitor vendor ageing and payment schedules.
Resolve vendor queries and reconciliation issues.
Ensure timely processing of payments.
3. Audit & Compliance
Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements.
Assist in implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
4. MIS & Financial Analysis
Prepare monthly MIS and management reports.
Analyze revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and business performance.
Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.
5. Process Improvement & Automation
Develop and implement finance SOPs.
Drive process automation and ERP improvements.
