Under close supervision, works with cross-functional teams, including consumer research, R&D;, and engineering, to compile and evaluate research on future product requirements and identify enhancements to current products. Helps product development team test strategies including pricing, product design, marketing, advertising, and packaging. Learning role with 2-3 years of experience.
Role Product Development Engineer
Experience: 2-3 years of STAGE GATE PROJECT MANAGEMENT experience in water or similar industry.
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent.
Education: BE/M.Tech in Polymer mandatory
Job Requirements




Successfully manage multiple projects with minimal supervision for product development of water filtration systems from concept till production phase.
Plan and execute projects on time and on budget.
Lead cross-functional teams through the Stage Gate based product development process.
Communicate effectively with internal (sales, marketing, quality, operations, management) and external (customers, vendors) stakeholders.
Quickly learn new technologies, processes, and systems.
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
Conduct root cause analysis and utilize problem-solving tools to resolve issues.
Support Quality in conducting root cause analysis on returned products and complaints.
Make objective, data-driven decisions and organize documentation to support them.
Experience and Requirements
2-3 years of product development experience in a manufacturing setting- preferably in water filtration, consumer goods, or high-volume engineered products.
