About TANUH
TANUH is an AI Centre of Excellence in Healthcare at IISc Bengaluru, funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. We develop and deploy AI-enabled screening tools for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)—currently covering oral cancer, breast cancer, gestational diabetes, and renal and vascular diseases. Designed to be used by frontline health workers (FLWs) in rural and remote settings without requiring specialist clinical presence, our tools bridge critical gaps in healthcare access. We are now seeking implementation partners to deploy these tools at population scale.
Role Overview
As a Recruiter (Consultant), you will own and drive end-to-end recruitment for TANUH across technical, research, clinical and corporate functions. The role requires robust sourcing capabilities, good understanding of technical talent markets,



and the ability to work closely with hiring managers to translate requirements into effective hiring strategies.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where priorities can evolve and several specialised roles may need to be closed simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from understanding requirements through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management and joining.
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles and establish appropriate sourcing strategies.
Drive hiring for technical and specialised roles, including AI/ML, software engineering, data science, platform/technology, research and healthcare/clinical roles.
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, referrals, academic/research networks and other relevant channels.
