Primary Responsibilities

Partner with engineering teams to design, build and operate resilient cloud-native platform services
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud-native services
Engineer and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, service mesh, ingress, secrets and platform networking
Build and enhance CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or ArgoCD
Implement observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards,



SLOs, SLIs and error budgets
Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, compliance and cost optimization
Automate operational workflows and eliminate manual toil using Python, Go or Bash
Lead production incident response, root cause analysis and preventive engineering improvements
Review code, mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering standards
Influence technical direction for platform reliability, operational excellence and developer experience
Mentor junior engineers
