Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.API Development: End-to-end design and development of scalable and secure APIs.

Hands-on experience with API authentication methods (OAuth| JWT| API Keys). Knowledge of API versioning| documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)| and testing.Database Management: Robust understanding of databases| including relational (PostgreSQL| MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB| Redis). Ability to write efficient| optimised queries and manage database schemas.Cloud and Deployment: Experience in deploying APIs on cloud platforms (AWS| Azure| GCP).

Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.



Familiar with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.Scalability and Performance: Proficient in optimising API performance and scalability.

Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis| Memcached) and load balancing techniques.Testing and Debugging: Familiar with unit testing frameworks like Pytest or unittest.
