- We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Oracle Developer to provide production and operational support for the JIDR and EDB Oracle Applications| which are critical components of the Endeavour Project Information Management solution and the EDB Line List Management application.
- This role focuses on supporting| maintaining| and enhancing legacy Oracle applications| rather than greenfield development.
- The ideal candidate will take ownership of application stability| upgrades| and continuous operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions:

- Perform routine monitoring of jobs| interfaces| and batch processes in JIDR and EDB Oracle databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to import| export| and data consistency check processes.
- Import processes ingest data from engineering applications into JIDR/EDB.
- Export processes publish data for reporting and downstream engineering systems.
- Monitor and support database cleanup activities| including scheduled weekend maintenance.
- Provide production and administrative support for Oracle Forms and Reports 12c (JIDR EDB UI) hosted on Azure.
- Lead the upgrade of Oracle Forms and Reports to version 14c (target completion September 2026).
- Lead Oracle Database upgrades to higher supported versions as required.
- Perform health checks on Production and Test environments as follows:
- Infrastructure upgrades
- Oracle patching




- Planned maintenance activities

- Coordinate closely with the Oracle DBA team for:

- Database upgrades and migrations
- Backup and recovery activities
- Test environment refreshes
- Performance and production issue resolution

- Execute limited development activities| primarily:

- Bug fixes
- Enhancements to existing PLSQL codebases supporting data imports| exports| configurations| and data definitions

- Support upgrades and changes to interfacing Endeavour and EDB components.
- Maintain strong collaboration with Application Administrators| Super Users| and Global Stakeholders.
- Provide on-call or off-hours support as required for production issues| weekend maintenance| and upgrade windows.

Qualifications:

Education

- Engineering Graduate Degree in Computer Science| Information Technology| or a related discipline.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oracle application support and development.

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle RDBMS (11g| 12c| 19c and above).
- Advanced knowledge of PLSQL for troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Proven experience supporting and upgrading Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Hands-on experience leading Oracle Database and Forms upgrades.
- Familiarity with Azure-hosted environments.




- Experience working with and maintaining legacy Engineering Applications.

Behavioral / Professional Skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
