Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and maintain desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, software, and basic network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, scanner, and connectivity issues.
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users through on-site and remote assistance.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Configure Outlook, Microsoft 365, email accounts, and other workplace applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Perform software installation, updates, patching, and system maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Handle system backups, data recovery,



and basic security-related tasks.
- Log and track incidents and service requests and resolve them within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with vendors and senior IT teams for complex hardware or software issues.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees, including system and account setup.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11.
- Solid hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
- Experience with printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Familiarity with remote support tools such as RDP, AnyDesk, or TeamViewer.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / BCA / B.Sc. / B.Tech / BE in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Desktop Engineering is preferred.
