Most tool designers spend their careers waiting for work to matter. Here it already does. We’re a tight design team inside a healthcare manufacturing company - small enough that your name goes on real decisions, large enough that those decisions affect real supply chains. You won’t be fighting for relevance. You’ll be building it.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO

- Design injection mould tooling from concept to approved 2D/3D -components, assemblies, parting lines, draft angles -the whole thing, not just clean-up work.
- Sit in real cross-functional reviews with moulding, QC, and production teams. Your job is to get designs to approval and validation -not just hand off drawings.
- Own your documentation -BOM, ERP codes, CAD records, material grades, inspection drawings. Clean data is part of the craft here.
- Coordinate material trials: alternate materials, masterbatch, MSDS/TDS/COA -you understand what goes into the mould, not just how it looks in CAD.
- Solve real tooling problems -duplicate ERP codes, missing material records, components with no traceability -and build better systems as you go.

You’ve shipped real tooling

2-4 years in injection mould tool design. You’ve been through at least one full design-to-trial cycle.

CAD is your native language

SolidWorks or CREO -confident enough to build complex parts without asking someone else to model it for you.

You care about precision

Tolerances, draft angles, parting lines -you catch things. You don’t leave errors for QC to find in the trial.

You close your own loops

You follow up. You update the BOM. You reply to the mail. You don’t need chasing.
