"Description Developer for platform solution 3D asset pipeline. We need a .NET developer to support us in developing a 3D/CAD conversion optimization tool, 3DAP (3D Asset Pipeline). The solution will convert native cad data into different lightweight formats.
Responsibilities As The .NET Application Developer Software development o C# in dotnet 8-10 o Powershell and BAT scripts for scripting o Agile way-of-working in Azure DevOps o Python experience is a plus but not a strict requirement o Development for deployment on Windows mainly, but might be switched over to Linux deployment at a later stage
- Solution details: o C# .Net 8 Background Service
- Will likely be upgraded to .Net 9 or 10 eventually…
- .NET Worker Service / BackgroundService — understanding of Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting, long-running background service patterns, and dependency injection in .NET 8.
- REST API experience - basic - The API code is autogenerated from the OpenAPI spec, not a lot of code to understand/maintain
- Azure cloud services — hands-on experience with Azure Identity (Entra ID / managed identity), Key Vault secrets, Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor / OpenTelemetry instrumentation as all ""plus"", likely not any high level needed, the services are implemented or close to be setup, not likely to change a lot.
- Observability and logging — Serilog configuration (console, file, mapped sinks), OpenTelemetry tracing/metrics, and structured logging practices.
- Security and authentication — token-based auth flows (JWT, o MSTest 4 + Moq test framework
- Dependency injection is used o Recipe Processor development (called by Worker to perform the processing activities):
- BAT/Powershell to drive/provide data to the Pixyz Python processes o Setup/Deployment
- Scheduled job, etc on Azure Windows Virtual Machines o CI/CD
- GitHub Actions
- CI/SonarQube+NexusIQ right now
- CD pipeline to be setup"
