About the Role

Aurowinx is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Design Verification Engineer to join our growing semiconductor and VLSI team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital design and verification methodologies, along with hands-on knowledge of hardware description languages and verification environments. This role offers an chance to work on challenging VLSI projects and contribute to the verification of complex digital designs.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute verification plans and test strategies for digital designs.

- Create and maintain verification environments and testbenches.
- Write test cases and simulations to verify RTL designs.
- Develop testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Perform functional, code, and coverage analysis.
- Debug simulation failures and identify root causes.
- Work closely with RTL Design Engineers to resolve design and verification issues.
- Develop assertions and checkers to improve verification quality.
- Perform regression testing and analyze regression results.
- Participate in design reviews and verification reviews.
- Document verification plans, test cases, results, and identified issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Strong understanding of Digital Electronics and Digital Design Fundamentals.

- Good knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Understanding of ASIC and VLSI Design Flow.
- Knowledge of simulation and debugging methodologies.
- Familiarity with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
- Understanding of functional coverage and code coverage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to debug complex RTL and simulation issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related field.

- Experience with industry-standard simulation and verification tools.
- Knowledge of SVA (SystemVerilog Assertions) is an added advantage.
- Experience in developing reusable verification environments.
- Understanding of protocols such as AMBA, AXI, AHB, APB, UART, SPI, or I2C is preferred.
- Experience with Python, Perl, TCL, or shell scripting is an added advantage.
- Previous project, internship, training, or industry experience in VLSI Design Verification is preferred.
