Role Description The Design Engineer will work full time on-site at the Navi Mumbai facility, contributing to the design and development of fluid power products and systems under the ROBUST brand. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating engineering drawings, designing components and assemblies, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure functional, reliable, and manufacturable designs. The role involves using CAD tools to model products, preparing technical documentation, and supporting prototype build, testing, and design improvements.

The Design

Engineer will coordinate with production and quality teams to address design issues, optimize performance, and meet customer-specific requirements.



The position also requires participation in design reviews, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and support for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills, with experience in developing components and systems for industrial or mobile applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis relevant to hydraulic and fluid power equipment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
- Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Electrical Engineering understanding to collaborate on electro-hydraulic systems and power pack designs.
- Relevant additional qualifications include a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, experience in hydraulics or fluid power, familiarity with industry standards, and robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Beneficial attributes include attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical specifications, effective communication skills, and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Navi Mumbai.
