Open Position: Design Engineer - PEB Industry

? Location: India | Kochi or Chennai

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures, ensuring compliance with international design codes and project requirements while delivering protected, economical, and high-quality engineering solutions.

✅ Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the design of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).
- Experience in structural steel building design is preferred.

✅ Technical Skills

- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro.
- Knowledge of MBS (Metal Building Software) and AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Thorough understanding of steel structure analysis and design.
- Working knowledge of international design codes such as: AISC, AISI, MBMA, IBC, British Standards (BS).

✅ Key Responsibilities

- Review Project Information Forms (PIF), proposal drawings,



and project specifications to ensure completeness and consistency.
- Perform structural analysis and design of PEB buildings in accordance with applicable international codes and standards.
- Design structural components to meet strength, stability, and serviceability requirements under various load combinations.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Detailing, Production, and Project teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve project-related queries.
- Attend online meetings with consultants, municipal authorities, and clients for design approvals and technical discussions.
- Identify and report special design requirements, non-standard building configurations, and potential project risks to management.
- Respond to technical queries and provide engineering support throughout project execution.
- Plan and prioritize assigned work to meet project schedules and deadlines.
