Role: Design Engineer Faade & Aluminium Systems

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 3–5 years

Role Summary

Provide design and technical support for aluminium faade projects, from tender review and product development to detailed drawings, fabrication documentation and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings, shop drawings, technical documents and client submissions.
- Develop faade design solutions and support product or system enhancements.
- Review specifications, tenders and BOQs; identify suitable aluminium systems and prepare proposals.
- Support clients, fabricators and internal teams with technical queries and project coordination.
- Prepare computation reports, material take-offs, fabrication sheets and bills of materials.




- Coordinate material quotations and delivery requirements with relevant teams.
- Create custom solutions and technical presentations for complex projects.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in faade design, aluminium systems or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Autodesk Inventor, Rhino or other 3D tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of windows, doors, sliders, unitized and stick faade systems.
- Experience in BOQ analysis, material take-offs and fabrication processes.
- Solid communication, analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of structural and thermal calculations is an advantage.
