Job Summary:

We are looking for a Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in Solid Edge and sheet metal fabrication. In this role, you will design and develop products with a focus on sheet metal components, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and model sheet metal components and assemblies using Solid Edge CAD software.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable using sheet metal fabrication techniques (e.g., cutting, bending, welding, punching).
- Conduct design reviews and modifications to meet product specifications and manufacturing standards.
- Create detailed technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and other documentation for manufacturing.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues related to sheet metal components.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

- Education:



Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer, specifically with Solid Edge and sheet metal fabrication.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Solid Edge CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (e.g., bending, punching, welding).
- Ability to create accurate technical drawings and designs.
- Communication: Valuable verbal and written communication skills to work with teams and suppliers.

Preferred:

- Experience in the manufacturing industry (e.g., automotive, industrial products).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection for sheet metal parts.
