SASCO STEEL PVT. LTD. is looking for an experienced Design & Development Engineer to join our team in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

? Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

? Experience: 4+ Years

? Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

? Salary: Competitive / As per candidate's knowledge and experience

? Reporting To: Sales Head

? Key Responsibilities

- Design and development of patterns and tooling for castings.
- Prepare and optimize gating and risering systems.
- Perform and interpret casting simulation for defect prevention and process improvement.
- Develop effective methoding and casting processes.
- Optimize casting methods to improve quality, yield and productivity.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales and other departments for successful execution of projects.
- Review drawings and customer requirements and convert them into practical manufacturing solutions.
- Support continuous improvement in casting design and manufacturing processes.

? Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of foundry engineering, casting processes,



pattern and tooling design.
- Positive understanding of gating, risering and methoding.
- Experience with relevant CAD/design and casting simulation software.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Practical knowledge of casting defects and their prevention will be an advantage.
