Purpose/Objective

Associate - Quality (Civil) is responsible for supporting quality assurance and control activities for civil components in renewable energy projects by ensuring adherence to quality plans, specifications, and standards.

This role is responsible for conducting field inspections, coordinating with contractors and vendors, resolving quality issues, and maintaining documentation, contributing to the overall project quality, compliance, and safety standards for civil works.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Quality Assurance and Documentation: Ensure QA requirements are developed and aligned with technical specifications and project standards for all civil components in renewable energy projects.

Prepare, review, and update Site Quality Plans (SQPs), Site Field Quality Plans (SFQPs), and Quality Inspection Reports (QIRs) for civil structures across wind, solar & hybrid projects.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to QA protocols and inspection requirements.

Complete all inspections within 12 hours of receiving a Inspection call from vendor and Issue Material Dispatch Clearance Certificates (MDCC) after acceptance of materials, supporting the timely supply to project sites.

Field Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and site audits for civil structures to ensure compliance with SFQPs and project standards.

Identify and document non-conformities (NCs), work on root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.

Coordinate with inspection agencies or team members for efficient scheduling and completion of on-site civil inspections.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination:



Work closely with contractors and vendors to communicate and enforce QA standards and inspection requirements.

Conduct vendor assessments and evaluate the quality of materials, concrete, rebar, foundations, and other civil works components.

Provide on-site technical guidance to contractors to enhance understanding and execution of quality requirements.

Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement: Ensure timely identification and resolution of quality issues in office by liaising with the Field Quality Assurance (FQA) team.

Contribute to the preparation of "lessons learned" reports to facilitate continuous improvement and update QA protocols for future projects.

Support quality-related improvement projects, such as Kaizen initiatives, to enhance project execution and field inspection quality.

Compliance and Safety Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards at project sites.

Promote a safety-oriented culture by following organizational protocols and conducting quality-related safety checks during field inspections.

Report on QA performance and inspection status to support compliance with internal and external audits.

Reporting and Communication: Compile monthly Quality Assurance reports, including status updates, audit findings, and inspection results.





Communicate inspection outcomes and issues effectively to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely actions.

Support team members and share knowledge on best practices in civil quality assurance for continuous capability enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Certifications in Quality Assurance, Civil Construction Standards, or related quality management practices preferred.

Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in quality assurance within civil construction, with a focus on renewable energy projects (wind, solar & hybrid).

Hands-on experience with site inspections, audits, and quality control processes for civil engineering works.

Strong understanding of quality protocols, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) for civil structures.

Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, IEC, and relevant construction codes.
