Purpose/Objective The C&I; Engineer will be responsible for execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination of Control & Instrumentation systems for Solar Cell and Module Manufacturing Projects.

The incumbent will ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

The role includes managing field instrumentation, PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, control panels, cable trays, control cables, and associated networks.

The engineer shall coordinate with internal departments, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and service engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities Project Execution - Execute installation and commissioning activities for:

- Field Instruments - PLC Systems - DCS Systems - SCADA Systems - Control Panels - Cable Trays - Instrument Cables - Control Cables - Ensure activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and industry best practices.

- Supervise erection and commissioning contractors for timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones. Engineering & Documentation - Review and understand engineering documents including:
- P&IDs; - Cable Schedules - General Arrangement Drawings - Hook-up Drawings - Interlock Logic Diagrams - Instrument Datasheets - Control Philosophy Documents - Signal Flow Diagrams - Bill of Quantities (BOQ) - I/O Lists - Prepare and maintain:
- Installation Check Sheets - Inspection Protocols - Test Reports - Loop Check Records - Commissioning Reports - As-Built Drawings - System Handover Documentation Commissioning Activities - Conduct:




- Instrument Calibration Verification - Loop Checking - Functional Testing - Logic Verification - Communication Testing - Trial Runs - Integrated System Testing - Coordinate with OEMs and service engineers during commissioning activities.

- Support smooth handover of systems to Operations & Maintenance teams. Safety & Compliance - Ensure strict adherence to: - HSE Guidelines - Quality Management Systems (QMS) - Project Safety Procedures - Statutory Requirements - Promote secure work practices among contractors and project teams.

- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Material Management - Monitor material receipt, storage, and reconciliation.

- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) as required.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of project materials.
- Track inventory utilization and project material consumption.

Stakeholder Coordination Internal

Stakeholders - Engineering - Electrical - Mechanical - Civil - Procurement - QA/QC - HSE - Operations & Maintenance External Stakeholders - Consultants - EPC Contractors - OEMs - Vendors - Service Providers Key Result Areas (KRAs) Construction Management - Achieve safe and quality installation of C&I; systems.

- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Maintain project documentation and handover records. Commissioning Management - Complete commissioning activities within schedule.





- Ensure successful performance testing and system acceptance. Material Management - Ensure material availability for uninterrupted project execution.

- Maintain accurate reconciliation and inventory records. Safety Compliance - Zero major safety violations.

- Compliance with project HSE standards. Stakeholder Management - Effective coordination among departments and contractors.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification B.

E.

Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience 5 to 10 Years in industrial project execution, preferably in large manufacturing, solar, power, process, or EPC projects.
