Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
2. Identify and onboard recent suppliers based on business requirements.
3. Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking.
4. Drive localization and alternate source development initiatives.
5. Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
6. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.

7.Ensure on-time procurement of materials to support production schedules.

Supplier Management

1. Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews.
2. Develop long-term supplier relationships and strategic partnerships.
3. Lead supplier improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and delivery.
4. Ensure supplier compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management

1. Drive cost reduction and value engineering projects.
2. analyze spend data and identify savings opportunities.

3 .Support annual budgeting and procurement planning activities. 4.Monitor commodity price trends and market conditions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

MBA/Postgraduate qualification preferred.

10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management

2. Purchase – Non BOM

Procurement Engineer –

- Handle procurement of Maintenance Equipment Spares, Utility, Administration, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Service, and CAPEX requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Utility, and Project teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize suppliers.
- Develop new suppliers and identify alternate sources for underperforming vendors.
- Create Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP against approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Manage Service PO and CAPEX procurement activities.
- Create and maintain vendor codes in SAP.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery.




- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval processes, and budget requirements.
- Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Indirect Purchase Cost Savings.
- Open PR Tracking with Turnaround Time (TAT) target of less than 5 days.
- Supplier On-Time Delivery Performance.
- Vendor Development and Alternate Source Creation.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Non-BOM Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, vendor development, and analytical skills.

- Manage the entire procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs through effective sourcing practices.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and supplier performance to inform strategic decisions.

Job Requirements :

- 8-15 years of experience in procurement or a related field within the engineering & construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record in developing successful supplier partnerships that drive value for both parties.
