Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Aizawl. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. The Desktop Support Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolve user support requests, and perform routine checks to ensure systems remain stable and secure.



The role also includes coordinating with other IT team members when necessary, maintaining documentation of support activities, and delivering clear, courteous communication to end users. The engineer may be required to respond to urgent support calls and assist with backup support for servers and other infrastructure as needed.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, and replacement of components.
Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve user issues efficiently.
Ability to provide Printer Support, including setup, connectivity, and resolving print-related problems.
Working knowledge of operating systems (such as Windows) and common office productivity software.
Positive communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service.
Ability to work independently on-site in Aizawl and manage multiple support r
