Job Title: Deputy General Manager Learning & Development
Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D;) leader to design and deliver a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business goals. The role will partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and the business to identify capability gaps and drive impactful learning interventions across both technical and soft skills domains.
This role requires strong expertise in learning design, program management, and stakeholder collaboration to build scalable and future-ready learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning Strategy & Design
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide learning strategy and roadmap
- Build annual learning calendar aligned with business priorities
- Design learning frameworks covering leadership, behavioral, and technical competencies
- Ensure learning solutions are aligned to organizational capability building
2. Business Partnering
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify learning needs
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across functions
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on capability development
- Align learning interventions with business KPIs and performance outcomes
3. Program Management
- Lead end-to-end learning program lifecycle (design execution evaluation)
- Manage multiple learning initiatives across functions and geographies
- Track program effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and ROI metrics
- Ensure timely delivery of programs within budget and timelines
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (CXOs, Business Heads, HRBPs)
- Partner with external learning vendors, consultants, and platforms
- Manage vendor selection, contracts, and quality of delivery
Eligibility Criteria
Experience
- 10-20 years of experience in Learning & Development / Talent Development
- Proven experience in business partnering and program management
- Experience working with senior stakeholders
Education
- MBA / Postgraduate in HR, Learning, or related field
- Certifications in Learning & Development / Instructional Design (preferred)
