Role Description The Demand Supply Planner is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for forecasting demand, planning supply, and aligning production schedules to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability. Day-to-day activities include analyzing sales and market data, preparing demand and supply plans, coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams, and adjusting plans based on actual performance and changing business needs.

The planner will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to reduce stock-outs and excess inventory,



support new product launches, and enhance planning processes through data-driven insights. The role also involves preparing reports, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting skills to manage short-term and long-term forecast cycles.
- Candidates should possess solid Supply Planning and Production Planning skills to coordinate manufacturing and inventory levels.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy.
- Experience with ERP or planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, advanced Excel models) and familiarity with FMCG or consumer goods environments are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven setting.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing business requirements in a hybrid work environment.
