Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Debt Collection Supervisor / Assistant Manager, based in Thane The individual will oversee a team of collection agents, monitoring performance, guiding daily activities, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include planning and allocating portfolios, tracking recovery progress, analyzing collection data, and implementing strategies to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency. The role involves handling escalated cases, coordinating with legal and finance teams on complex accounts, and maintaining clear,



professional communication with customers and client representatives. The supervisor/assistant manager will also be expected to conduct training, maintain accurate reports, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong debt collection and recovery management skills, with experience in supervising collection teams.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret portfolio data to drive strategy and decisions.
- Candidates should possess clear, professional communication skills and the ability to manage escalations and negotiations.

- Ability to lead teams, set targets, and coach staff, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Graduate degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is desirable; proficiency with MS Excel and reporting tools is an advantage.
