We are seeking a skilled DataStage Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere DataStage. The ideal candidate will have experience in data integration, data warehousing, and database technologies, with the ability to deliver high-quality data solutions that support business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Analyze business and technical requirements for data integration solutions.
- Develop and optimize DataStage jobs for performance and scalability.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and data marts.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures and provide production support.
- Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and database administrators.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications and deployment procedures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills
- Solid experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
