Description The candidate will serve as the technical lead for database services, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of mission-critical applications and databases.

The ideal candidate should possess robust experience in enterprise SQL database environments, working closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient database solutions.

Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Ensure database availability, performance, integrity, and security.
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of SQL Server instances.
- Monitor database health and proactively address capacity and performance issues.




- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Identify performance bottlenecks using execution plans, indexing strategies, and SQL Profiler
- Manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
- Configure and support database replication, clustering, and log shipping.
- Ensure business continuity and database resiliency.
