Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain database environments.

- Manage and support databases such as SAP HANA, MaxDB, MS SQL Server, or MySQL.

- Perform database upgrades, patching, and version migrations.

- Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.

- Perform data migration and database maintenance activities.

- Manage database objects including tables, indexes, constraints, and views.

- Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.

- Provide support for large and complex database landscapes.

- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

- Support database security, access management, and user administration.

- Work on incident, problem, and change management following ITIL processes.

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and technical teams to resolve database-related issues.





- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

- Provide production support and participate in on-call activities when required.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.

- Hands-on experience with at least one of:

- SAP HANA

- SAP MaxDB

- Microsoft SQL Server

- MySQL

- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

- Experience in database installation and configuration.

- Experience with database upgrades and patching.

- Hands-on experience with data migration.

- Valuable understanding of tables, indexes, constraints, and views.

- Experience supporting large database landscapes.

- Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts.

- Experience with ITIL Incident and Problem Management.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
