About the Role

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team and create technology products that help people have the best healthcare experience they have ever had.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support a team of Software Engineers in the development and maintenance of technology products
- Working with Product Management, develop the long-term strategy for your team and translate it into achievable goals
- Understanding how all architectural elements of the software ecosystem work together and develop engineering and testing approaches that fit the overall strategy




- Push for decisions to be made effectively and remove blockers that impede team progress. Drive team goals forward by organising the team’s work and setting appropriate milestones.
- Deliver regular updates within the team and to leadership
- Build an excellent relationship with relevant colleagues (engineering, product, design, data, etc) to deliver collaboratively and align on key strategic decisions.
- Proactively escalate issues in a timely manner with delivery to appropriate colleagues
- Foster a culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics
- Empower engineers to achieve a high bar of engineering excellence in their work, creating space for testing, automation, observability, documentation and other key concerns.
