Position Purpose The Developer would be responsible for all the development on the MIRO Application, Support the application development and as well as testing.

The activity will mainly consist of development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

- ETL Development: Create, optimize, and maintain DataStage parallel jobs, sequences, and routines to move data from various sources to target data warehouses and data marts.
- Data Transformation: Implement complex business logic using transformer stages, lookups, joins, aggregations, and sorting mechanisms.
- Database & SQL Optimization: Write and optimize advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries to extract and manipulate data in relational databases like Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate job scheduling, file monitoring, and operational pipelines.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Monitor job execution, perform root cause analysis on failed data loads, and provide production support for data processing cycles.
- Collaboration: Work with data architects, business analysts, and testers to translate business rules into source-to-target mappings and technical specifications.



Work closely in a one team approach with all stakeholders during all phases of the SDLC, jointly providing high quality deliverables
- Testing: Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression) as required while coordinating with BA, IT and QA teams
- AI: Use AI tools LLM, API’s etc
