TailorFlow AI is a Cambridge-based enterprise AI services company that designs and delivers bespoke solutions for complex business problems. We help enterprises and ambitious mid-market organisations identify valuable AI opportunities and implement systems that work in real business environments.

Our customers are based across the UK, South Africa, the Americas and Australia. Most work happens asynchronously, offering flexibility in how team members structure their day. Depending on the project, you should be comfortable maintaining three to four hours of overlap with the relevant customer geography.

We are a small, growing team primarily based in Cambridge, with newer team members working remotely from India. As our international customer base grows, we are adding more remote team members in India.

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop applied AI solutions for complex client workflows and datasets.

You will explore data, design experiments, evaluate approaches and turn analytical findings into dependable client solutions.

What you will do

· Explore, clean and analyse structured and unstructured datasets.

· Develop models for classification, extraction, matching and prediction.

· Design robust experiments,



metrics and evaluation frameworks.

· Compare techniques against quality, cost and latency requirements.

· Communicate findings and technical trade-offs clearly.

· Collaborate with engineers to move successful approaches into production.

What we are looking for

· One to four years of data science, machine learning or applied analytics experience.

· Strong Python and familiarity with common data science libraries.

· Sound understanding of statistics, experimentation and model evaluation.

· Ability to identify data-quality issues and model limitations.

· Clear analytical communication and structured problem-solving.

· A practical, curious and ownership-oriented approach.

It would be helpful if you have

· Experience with NLP, generative AI or document intelligence.

· Exposure to SQL, cloud platforms or MLOps.

· Experience working with noisy or domain-specific data.

Academic depth is welcome, but this role is focused on creating measurable value in real operating environments.
