Essential Job Functions:

- Design, develop, and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support business requirements.

- Utilize various data modeling approaches, including:

- Relational Data Modeling: Design normalized databases to ensure data integrity and reduce redundancy.

- Dimensional Data Modeling: Create star and snowflake schemas for data warehousing and business intelligence purposes.

- NoSQL Data Modeling: Develop models for document, key-value, column-family, and graph databases.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

- Implement and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis.

- Use data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, and PowerDesigner to create and manage data models.

- Ensure data models adhere to best practices and standards for data governance, security, and compliance.

- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.

- Document data models, data flows, and metadata to ensure clarity and consistency.

Qualifications

- 4 Years to 7 Years of Industry Experience





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
