Job Requirements -

SQL and Database Knowledge (Mandatory):

- Advanced Proficiency in SQL to write and execute queries for data validation.

- Working experience with databases like PostGreSQL, Snowflake and data warehousing concepts.

Data Analysis and Profiling :

- Solid analytical skills to review and analyze data for quality issues, inconsistencies, and discrepancies.

- Proficiency in data profiling tools and techniques to analyze data quality, detect anomalies, and identify patterns within data.

Data Quality and Validation (Mandatory):

- Ability to validate and verify data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency during the ETL process.

- Knowledge of data quality tools and frameworks.

Test Design and Execution:

- Design test cases and scenarios to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.

- Execute test cases and document results, identifying and reporting defects and anomalies.

Skills

- 6+ years of experience in design and execution of Test plan,



data migration strategy, application testing, and performance tuning.

- Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning.

- Proven experience as a data migration test engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of data migration processes, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies, and data integration.

- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks, as well as data validation and verification techniques.

- Experience with test plan management and status reporting tools such as Jira is essential.

- Extensive experience in functional, Regression testing is essential.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience of working within an agile delivery framework is preferred

Preferred:

- Proficient in Salesforce and Salesforce data models.

- SOQL queries.

- Good understanding of AWS, Heroku and cloud architecture.
