We are looking for an AI-driven Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, MySQL/SQL, ETL/ELT, and Data Pipelines to build reliable data solutions for Reports, Dashboards, and Analytics.

The candidate will be responsible for extracting data from multiple sources, transforming and validating the data, and making it available in a structured and optimized format for reporting and analytics.

The candidate should leverage AI tools and AI-assisted development to accelerate pipeline development, SQL generation/optimization, automation, troubleshooting, reporting, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automated ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Extract and transform data from databases, APIs, files, and multiple sources.
- Develop Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries.
- Build optimized datasets for Power BI Reports and Dashboards.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, incremental loads, and scheduled processes.




- Use AI tools to accelerate coding, SQL optimization, debugging, automation, testing, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to automate data engineering and reporting processes using AI.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and data quality issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with Business, Product, and Analytics teams to align data engineering objectives with organizational goals.
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines and data sources.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Python, MySQL, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines.
- Experience integrating APIs and multiple data sources.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Strong data transformation, validation, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Dashboards, Reports, Data Models, Data Refresh, Data Visualization
- Experience using AI coding assistants / GenAI tools for development and automation.
- Ability to review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code and solutions.
