We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect with over 10 years of hands-on experience specializing in data services, data architecture, and data platforms across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and implementing scalable data solutions leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks

Job Position Title:

Manager/ Senior Manager Cloud Data Architect– Data and Analytics – Advisory – Bangalore

Responsibilities:

- Architect and design end-to-end data solutions on one or more cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Lead data architecture initiatives ensuring alignment with business goals and cloud best practices.
- Develop and implement data strategies, architectures, and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead complex data migration and transformation projects, for example migrating data and applications to cloud data lakes or warehouses.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and highly available.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud data technologies to improve architecture.

Mandatory skill sets:





- Extensive experience working with at least one major cloud platform’s data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, Snowflake Data Warehousing, or Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Strong expertise in data engineering and data processing frameworks including Spark and Delta Lake (preferably Databricks).
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles and data governance best practices.
- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud data migration and transformation projects (e.g., Oracle to cloud data lake/warehouse).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred skill sets:

- Certification(s) in any of the following: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake Advanced Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer or similar.
- Experience designing multi-cloud data architecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with data security, compliance, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
