About The Role

We are seeking experienced Snowflake Data Engineers to join our dynamic team on a pan-India basis. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data warehousing solutions leveraging the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support enterprise analytics, migration projects, and data governance initiatives.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud data solutions, lead migration efforts from legacy systems, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud data warehousing, data modeling, and ELT pipeline development, with a passion for leveraging Snowflake’s native features to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering roles, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Snowflake Data Cloud. A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Candidates should have proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Python,



along with experience in data modeling techniques like star schema, slowly changing dimensions (SCD), and Data Vault.

Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools, data security, and governance practices is also required.

Certifications related to Snowflake or cloud platforms will be considered an added advantage. The candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, efficient ELT pipelines and data models on Snowflake using SQL, DBT, and Python to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.
- Develop comprehensive data warehousing solutions employing star schema, SCD, and Data Vault methodologies to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Leverage Snowflake-native features such as Snowpipe for continuous data ingestion, Streams & Tasks for real-time processing, Time Travel for data versioning, and Data Sharing for secure data exchange.
- Lead or support migration projects from legacy systems like Teradata, Oracle, Exadata, GreenPlum, or Hadoop to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
- Optimize data workloads by fine-tuning warehouse sizing, query performance, clustering, and implementing cost-management strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Implement robust data security and governance measures, including dynamic masking, role-based access control (RBAC), row and column-level security,



and secure data sharing practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments utilizing tools such as DBT, Liquibase, and Git, ensuring seamless automation and version control.
- Integrate Snowflake with various ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, and Matillion, as well as BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, to facilitate comprehensive data analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver scalable data solutions that align with organizational goals.
