Role Summary
We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and support enterprise data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets. This role requires strong expertise in data mapping, data analysis, and report analysis, with hands-on capabilities in Oracle, SQL databases, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Dataverse. The engineer will work with global stakeholders and contribute to building reliable, scalable, and well-governed data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL) and standardized frameworks.
- Create detailed source-to-target mapping documents and collaborate with SMEs for validation.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, normalization, and implement data quality controls.
- Analyze data and reports for gaps, inconsistencies, and defects, providing resolution options.
- Develop transformations and curated layers in Snowflake, following performance and cost best practices.
- Write and optimize SQL for Oracle and other relational databases; support extraction strategies.
- Integrate datasets with Microsoft Dataverse to support downstream Power Platform apps and workflows.
- Support production operations: monitoring, incident management, RCA, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation: pipeline specs, mapping sheets, test results, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with QA/BI teams to validate outputs and ensure readiness for dashboards and analytics.

5+ Years
Mandatory skills
- 4+ years in Data Engineering / ETL / Data Integration.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to debug complex data issues.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle DB and relational modeling.
- Practical experience using Databricks (Spark) for transformations and pipeline development.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake for loading and transformation patterns.
- Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and data validation techniques.
- Experience analyzing reporting outputs and ensuring dataset accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
