Have good analytical and troubleshooting skills. Be comfortable working in a security operations setting.

Role & responsibilities
Monitor security alerts from SIEM, Firewall, Antivirus/EDR and other security tools. Analyze and investigate basic security alerts and suspicious activities.
Identify potential incidents such as malware, phishing, unauthorized access, brute-force attacks and suspicious network activity.
Perform initial incident analysis and escalate critical issues to senior security teams. Monitor and analyze firewall and security logs. Support endpoint security and antivirus/EDR monitoring. Assist with vulnerability scanning and tracking of security vulnerabilities.
Support security patching and remediation activities. Maintain security incident records and prepare basic reports. Assist with security audits and compliance activities such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
Follow security policies, SOPs and incident escalation procedures.
Coordinate with Network, Server, Application and IT teams for security-related issues.
