Training Audience: Students and working professionals in the USA

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer Trainer to deliver live, instructor-led online Cyber Security training to students and working professionals in the USA.

Important: This is a Cyber Security Engineer Trainer role, NOT a Network Security Engineer role and NOT a full-time position.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Cyber Security engineering experience and the ability to explain technical concepts through practical demonstrations, labs, real-world scenarios, and projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver live online Cyber Security Engineer training to USA-based students.
- Provide hands-on training on SIEM, SOAR, EDR, SOC Operations, Threat Detection, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.
- Train students on security event monitoring, triage, investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery.
- Provide practical exposure to Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender XDR, or similar enterprise security platforms.
- Cover IAM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Okta, authentication, privileged access, and identity security.
- Explain cloud security concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Provide exposure to firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, CASB, PKI, encryption, and certificate management.
- Teach security frameworks and standards including NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-171, Zero Trust Architecture, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK;.
- Conduct hands-on labs, assignments, assessments,



projects, and real-world Cyber Security scenarios.
- Guide students on interview preparation and practical Cyber Security Engineer job requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong professional experience as a Cyber Security Engineer / Security Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, IAM, authentication, encryption, Windows/Linux security, and cloud security.
- Experience with enterprise Cyber Security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender XDR, Okta, Palo Alto, CyberArk, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-171, Zero Trust Architecture, MITRE ATT&CK;, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex Cyber Security concepts in an easy-to-understand and practical manner.
- Previous training, mentoring, or technical knowledge-transfer experience is highly preferred.
- Must be comfortable delivering live online sessions aligned with USA time zones.

Preferred Certifications CISSP, CISM, CASP+, GICSP, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, or comparable Cyber Security certifications are preferred.
