Summary

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications while serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. This role requires coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. The position demands proactive problem-solving and decision-making to guide the development process effectively.

The engineer continuously monitors progress, addresses challenges, and ensures that the applications meet the required standards and expectations. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the workflow and driving the project toward successful completion.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Experience with GCP or Azure

Experience with Terraform and automated CI/CD

Knowledge of scripting (Unix Shell Scripts, Perl, Python etc.) or development in high-level programming languages

Experience with system monitoring and event analysis

Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) is advantage

Experience with Databricks is advantage

Knowledge in standard technologies and open minded for future trends

High commitment and motivation,



as well as coordination skills

Proficiency in written and spoken English

Act as a liaison between the IT and Corporate Functions (e.g. Finance, Compliance, and others)

Design integrated process, applications, data and technology solutions in accordance with the Enterprise IT strategy

Implement Information Security requirements according to group-wide standards

Participate in agile projects

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps, Perl Scripts, Python (Programming Language), PostgreSQL.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Perl Scripts, Python (Programming Language), PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Ability to monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
