Summary

As a Custom Application Architect, a typical day involves designing the architecture of custom software systems that effectively translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions. We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Engineer (CL9) to execute cloud SaaS and infra deployments using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this hands-on role, you will build and manage Google resources using custom Terraform modules executed via Azure DevOps pipelines.

You will be responsible for integrating GCP workloads with multi-cloud environments (including Azure and AWS) and connecting applications with enterprise AI solutions hosted on other cloud platforms.

- Responsibilities:

- Terraform Module Automation: Design, write, and maintain enterprise-grade, reusable, and secure Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for GCP services.
- CI/CD Integration: Design, build, and optimize automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps to execute Terraform workflows and manage GCP resource lifecycles.
- Multi-Cloud Integration: Connect and integrate GCP resources with multi-cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS.
- AI Solutions Integration: Connect and integrate enterprise AI solutions hosted on external cloud platforms into GCP applications and pipelines.

- Best Practices: Apply end-to-end SDLC practices including code reviews, version control,



automated testing, security checks, and detailed documentation.

Professional &
- Technical Skills:

- Terraform Module Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience authoring custom Terraform modules, managing state files, writing DRY code, and managing complex module dependencies for GCP.
- DevOps &
- Pipelines: Extensive, hands-on experience configuring and executing CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Multi-Cloud &
- AI Integration: Experience integrating GCP resources with AWS/Azure, as well as connecting applications with third-party/external AI services.
- SDLC: Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodology, Git workflows, and security guardrails.

Preferred / Valuable-to-Have Skills :
- GCP Ecosystem Knowledge: Broad awareness and working familiarity with the wider Google Cloud Ecosystem (e.g., core compute, networking, security, IAM, and data tools).
- GCP SaaS Offerings: Experience deploying or managing Google Cloud SaaS and managed software solutions via automated pipelines.
- Azure Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- GCP Landing Zones: Experience with GCP Landing Zone concepts (folders, projects, networking, IAM, and org policies).
- Python: Scripting abilities in Python for automation, custom GCP functions, or API integrations.
- Full-Stack Development: Background in frontend and backend technologies to better support application architecture and integration needs.
- Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud DevOps Services.
- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
