We are looking for a creative Content Writer & Video Scriptwriter who can develop high-engagement content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube long-form videos for Sri Anu Jewellers .

Required Skills

- Strong scriptwriting and creative ideation skills
- Experience creating scripts for Reels, Shorts, and YouTube
- Strong storytelling ability
- Ability to think camera-first and audience-first
- Understanding of social media content and trends
- Comfortable assisting during shoots and directing on-camera talent
- Comfortable working with editors and giving creative inputs
- Comfortable with posting content and audience engagement
- Good command of English & Tamil
- Strong interest in jewellery, fashion, culture, lifestyle, and social media content

Key Responsibilities 1. Scriptwriting & Content Ideation | Primary Focus

- Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube long-form videos
- Develop fresh content ideas around: Jewellery & new collections, Jewellery trends, Traditional jewellery & cultural stories, Jewellery education
- Styling & product-focused content
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Customer-focused content
- Trend-based & influencer-style videos
- Create strong: Hooks, Storytelling structures, Dialogues, CTAs
- Think beyond repetitive product-promotion content and continuously identify new formats, concepts, and content angles .
- Write content in English & Tamil with a strong understanding of conversational language.
- 2. Shoot Assistance & Creative Direction




- Be present during shoots and help creators/actors with:
- Dialogue delivery
- Pacing
- Expressions
- Body language
- Overall performance
- Ensure the script is translated effectively from paper to camera.
- Coordinate with creators, models, and influencers when required.
- Give clear creative direction to editors regarding:
- Video flow
- Cuts
- Pacing
- Emphasis
- On-screen text
- Storytelling
- Ensure every video stays aligned with Sri Anu Jewellers' brand tone and communication style.
- 3. Posting, Publishing & Audience Engagement
- Publish content across: Instagram, YouTube
- Write engaging: Captions, Titles, Descriptions, Hashtags
- Monitor audience responses through: Comments, DMs, Shares, Saves, Feedback
- Respond to relevant comments and basic audience queries.
- Identify what audiences are responding to and use those insights to improve upcoming content.

This role involves active platform and content ownership, not just scriptwriting.

- 4. Platform & Content Understanding
- Understand how content should differ across: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube long-form videos
- Stay updated with: Jewellery trends, Social media trends, Viral formats, Hooks, Creator content styles, Emerging content formats
- Monitor basic performance metrics such as: Views, Engagement, Retention, Shares, Saves
- Analyse competitor jewellery brands and creators to identify content gaps, opportunities, and recent ideas .
- Suggest what Sri Anu Jewellers should experiment with next to improve content performance.
