Corporate Legal Manager

About the role

DoubleTick.io, an award-winning conversational CX stack, is looking for a Corporate Legal Manager to own and scale our paid acquisition and demand-generation engine.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong performance marketing expertise with a sharp understanding of B2B SaaS funnels and can translate marketing investments into qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Legal

- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of agreements including customer contracts, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, and service agreements.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual, commercial, and operational matters.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the business.
- Support corporate governance activities, statutory filings, and maintenance of legal records.
- Develop and implement internal policies, processes, and compliance frameworks.

Contract & Risk Management

- Own the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
- Review customer and vendor agreements to ensure appropriate risk protection.
- Maintain contract repositories and track key obligations and renewal timelines.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- 4–8 years of experience in corporate legal, commercial contracts, compliance, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate, contract, and labor laws.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

- Exposure to data privacy,



information security, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting fundraising, partnerships, or corporate transactions is a plus.
- Knowledge of the DPDP Act and its compliance.
- Proven experience independently handling commercial contract negotiations.
- Prior experience working in the software industry.
