POSITION SUMMARY
Provide contract administration, public procurement, statutory and commercial-dispute support for renewable energy and infrastructure programme implementation. The role reviews contractual compliance, supports resolution of disputes and claims, and strengthens auditable documentation for milestones and CFA/subsidy processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support contract administration and commercial dispute management in public procurement.
- Review contractor and system-integrator compliance with contractual obligations, maintenance requirements and performance guarantees.
- Identify contractual, statutory and regulatory risks affecting scheme implementation.
- Support management of contractor disputes, claims, force majeure events and arbitration proceedings under applicable contractual and legal frameworks.
- Review tender qualification requirements, DCR clauses and technical evaluation criteria for legal or trade-dispute exposure.
- Audit compliance documentation and verify evidence supporting milestone completion.
- Provide documented legal and regulatory inputs for clearance of CFA/subsidy disbursement milestones within the approved governance process.
- Maintain transparent and traceable records for CFA,
state subsidy and fund-disbursement processes to support statutory and government audit scrutiny.
- Support anti-fraud, documentation and escalation controls in contract and vendor-management processes.
- Prepare dispute notes, contractual risk summaries, action trackers and management briefs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) together with a Master's degree in Management, or an MBA in Finance/Operations.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public procurement, contract administration, commercial dispute management and regulatory compliance in the infrastructure or energy sector.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS
- Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.
- Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.
- Produce transparent, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
- Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
