Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in contract management, commercial negotiations, and legal aspects of contracts . The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, administering, and closing contracts.

The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of Indian Contract Law, commercial laws, contract drafting, claims, dispute resolution, and arbitration .

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial and project contracts.
- Manage contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Review and negotiate key contractual terms, including scope of work, payment terms, timelines, LD, warranties, indemnity, limitation of liability, force majeure, termination, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify contractual and legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Manage contract amendments, addendums, change orders, and variation orders.
- Monitor contractual obligations and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.




- Handle contractual claims and support dispute resolution and arbitration processes.
- Coordinate with Business Development, Tendering, Project Management, Engineering, SCM, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all contractual communications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) is preferred.
- Candidates with a degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields , along with solid experience in contract management and legal aspects, may also be considered.
- Additional qualifications or certifications in Contract Management, Commercial Law, or Arbitration will be an added advantage.

Required Experience & Skills

- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Contracts Management, Commercial Contracts, Legal Contracts, or Project Contracts.
- Strong experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration .
- Good knowledge of the Indian Contract Act and relevant commercial laws .
- Experience in claims management, dispute resolution, and arbitration .
- Experience in EPC, Renewable Energy, Solar, BESS, Power, Infrastructure, Construction, or Engineering projects is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
