You will work on enterprise-scale digital experiences where structured content, headless delivery, API-first implementation, editorial governance, localization, CI/CD, and modern front-end engineering come together to support global clients. Contentful's enterprise positioning emphasizes API-first, cloud-native architecture, multi-channel content operations, localization/personalization, custom roles and permissions, SSO/SCIM, audit logs, and enterprise security/compliance capabilities.

What you will do

Technical Core (Contentful Expertise)

- Advanced Content Modeling: Proven ability to architecture complex, reusable content schemas and relationships.

- API Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with Contentful Delivery, Management, Preview, and GraphQL APIs.

- App Framework:



Experience building custom UI extensions and apps using the Contentful App Framework.

- Environment Management: Mastery of space topologies, environment aliases, and migration CLI tools.

- Must have certification: Contentful Certified Professional.

Architecture & Frontend Integration

- Modern JavaScript: Expert knowledge of Node.js and frontend frameworks like Next.js.

- MACH Architecture: Strong understanding of Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless architectures.

- CI/CD Automation: Experience automating content migrations and code deployments via tools like GitHub Actions.

- Caching & CDN: Deep understanding of Edge caching, webhooks, and optimizing API response payloads.

Leadership & Collaboration

- Engineering Mentorship: Track record of leading developer teams and establishing strict code review standards.

- Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to translate complex technical architectures into straightforward concepts for content authors.

- Agile Governance: Experience setting up custom workflow permissions, roles, and content release lifecycles.

Qualifications

- At least 8+ years of experience in Contentful CMS. 6+ years in web development, with at least 2+ years specifically leading enterprise Contentful implementations.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

- Familiarity with agile ceremonies (preferably Scrum).

- Minimum qualifications - 4-year Computer Science degree or comparable education.
