Role Description The Consultant Pediatric Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to children and adolescents, including examinations, diagnosis, preventive treatments, and restorative procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, managing dental anxiety in young patients, and coordinating treatment plans with other dental and medical professionals as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to infection control protocols,



and participating in case discussions to improve patient outcomes.

This is a part-time, on-site position based in Madipakkam requiring regular presence at the clinic during scheduled working hours.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate general health considerations into dental treatment plans.
- Specialized expertise in Pediatric Dentistry, including behavior management, Nitrous Oxide Sedation,preventive care, and treatment of common childhood dental conditions.
- Recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification or formal training in Pediatric Dentistry; valid dental license/registration as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control standards, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to children and caregivers and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a pediatric dental or child-focused clinical setting is highly beneficial.
