Role Description The Construction Manager – Pharma (Madhya Pradesh) will oversee on-site construction activities for pharmaceutical projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Thane and involves coordinating with project stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to plan, schedule, and monitor progress.

The role includes managing site execution, supervising construction teams, controlling project budgets and timelines, and resolving technical or operational issues.

The Construction

Manager will ensure adherence to quality and HSE protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular status reports to leadership. The position also involves supporting project risk assessments,



driving continuous improvement in construction processes, and facilitating smooth handover of completed works.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, coordinate contractors, and manage day-to-day construction activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting and Project Control skills to manage costs, track progress, and ensure timely delivery within approved resources.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Construction and Construction Safety to oversee civil, structural, and related works while maintaining HSE standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmaceutical industry construction requirements, including cleanroom concepts, utilities, and regulatory compliance (GMP, local statutory norms).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline); postgraduate qualifications in project management are an advantage.
- Experience in managing medium to large-scale industrial or pharma construction projects, preferably within EPC or integrated project environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using project management and MS Office tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical practices, with the ability to work in office and travel to project locations in Madhya Pradesh as required.

BE/BTech - Mechanical with 20+ years of work experience in handling Construction/Project of Pharmaceutical companies.
