We are looking for an experienced professional for Automotive Connector Design & Development. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automotive connector systems and related components from concept to validation.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design and development of automotive connectors, terminals, housings, secondary locks and seals.
- 3D/2D modelling and design using CATIA V5 / SolidWorks / NX.
- Conduct design calculations, GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Prepare and review DFMEA, design specifications and technical documentation.
- Support NPD, prototyping, product validation and testing.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve design-related issues through RCA/problem solving.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
- Support VAVE, cost reduction,



localization and standardization activities.
- Contribute to development of next-generation connector technologies.

Mandatory Skills:

- 5-10 years of experience in automotive connector design & development.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical connection systems.
- Hands-on experience in 3D CAD CATIA V5 / SolidWorks / NX.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T; and Tolerance Stack-up.
- Experience in plastic/metal component design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of automotive connector standards such as JASO, ISO, DIN, USCAR, LV124/LV148 will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
